Bangkok Hustlers Ladies High Roller Tournament

Mihnea: I came here one day with my wife and you guys had like a ladies tournament.

Stuart: Yes, we’ve just started doing like a ladies high-roller tournament. We do it probably every three months and the last two tournaments were full for 32 players.

Mihnea: Actually my wife wanted to play and just wanted to join for fun. But you guys were fully booked.

Stuart: We had full for 32 players and we’re not going to accept any more than that because we don’t have the capacity to do that. But both ladies tournament were a great success. Everybody had fun, everybody got drunk and there were wealthy winners at the end.

Mihnea: It sounds like a fun night. But in your regular tournaments do you have both men and women?

Stuart: Yes, the Sunday tournaments are for both men and women and anybody can play.

Mihnea: I don’t want to be sexist, but are women ranking high up?

Stuart: We have one or two ladies in Bangkok that can really hold the cue and many of the guys are scared of to play them. The standard is getting better between the ladies so they’re all improving. Like I said the ladies 32 player ranking tournament is a good pool scene for the ladies also.
